I think the solution is to change the name of the folder the files are in, it only needs to be a minor change like replacing a space with an underscore.

This causes the music player to re-read all the info.

Finally find someone with the same problem. No one believe me mate. I have had such a problem, I ended up transferring to music manager, re naming, transferring back, and its still not solved.

1. connect your phone to a PC via USB.
2. Choose Data Transfer (a.k.a. Mass Storage). Do not select PC Suite because you won’t be able to browse protected folders in PC Suite mode.
(Or just take the memory card out and put in a card reader)
3. Open Windows Explorer on your PC.
4. Go to \private\101FFC31 on the phone’s folder.
5. There, you should be able to find the mpxv1.mpd (for MP3) and pcv5.mpd (for AUDIO PODCAST)
6. Goto \private\101f8857\Cache
7. Goto \private\101ffca9
8. In all the 3 folders delete all the files Not the FOLDER
9. Now refresh ur music library
