I have deleted files from SD card on Samsung Galaxy S8, but to my surprise the memory space does not get emptied. It still shows SD card full but no files it. How to fix it?

Finally after looking for the solutions I have found the perfect solution that helped me to fix the issue.

Actually, the deleted files are not deleted properly.

I have connected the SD card to PC via card reader and follow the below steps:

On PC click Start and type CMD in search bar and hit ENTER button.

Command Prompt Window will get open. Now type the following command: attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* and hit ENTER.

Here you need to replace “g:” drive with your SD card drive letter name.

Once the process gets complete, go back to “This PC/My Computer” and open the SD card and you will all your files reappear. After that I have deleted the files from memory card on PC itself to free up space.
