Keyboard app that you use
« on: April 16, 2014, 08:04:55 AM »
Selecting the keyboard app that suits you is very important because it would decrease your text input time thus allowing you to compose messages faster. I used to love the stock keyboard of Samsung. But after some software updates, their stock keyboard now sucks. I've tried a lot of keyboards (free and paid) and I finally found one that suits my needs - TouchPal X. The keyboard can be resized, the text prediction is smart, and it also has a lot of symbols for you to use.

What keyboard app do you use?

You're welcome dude. I've tried a lot of keyboard apps and this works best for me. Some have suggested that I just get SwiftKey. I tried that out too but it just give me the predictions that I wanted.

I'm sure that you'll find a lot to love in Touch Pal. You could write an entire sentence without even lifting your finger! And, it also constantly updates itself with the current trends on the internet. So if you type in, say, "Lebron", it would automatically predict the next word to be James. :)

I might have to try that. Right now I'm using the Samsung keyboard. I was using the dumb Google keyboard but it didn't even have speech-to-text.

OK,  so I downloaded the keyboard app,  and I actually got trapped by the themes and downloaded  several.  It's pretty cool.  Right now I'm using Blue  Machine.  Works like a machine.....

I use the Ginger Keyboard. It also has a dictionary, can be customized, synonyms among other features. It works just fine.
