Software Downloads / Office Apps for Android?
« on: September 18, 2015, 10:47:03 AM »
There are times when we really find ourselves in need of editing documents or making powerpoint presentations in a pinch. What better way to do this than doing it right at your phone?

For me, I use the Polaris Office and the one by Mobi systems (which is paid). How about you?

Software Downloads / Good (and free) RPGs for Android
« on: September 18, 2015, 02:50:35 AM »
Are there any good (and free) RPGs to play for Android? So far, I've tried the Zenonia series and it's working great so far, but I'd prefer something with slightly better graphics (or rather, something more 3D). What games would you guys recommend?

Software Downloads / Good note-taking app?
« on: September 13, 2015, 06:44:12 PM »
I've been looking for a good note-taking app for a while now but haven't really settled on anything yet. Any suggestions?

So far I've tried Evernote (I didn't like the fact that it heavily relied on your Evernote account and how limited it was unless I go with the paid version), Google Keep (having troubles with syncing) and OneNote (what I'm using so far. It's OK but I'm looking for more features for Android. The features on the iOS version seem better, though).

Android OS / ASUS Zenfone
« on: September 13, 2015, 06:25:59 PM »
I was fairly surprised that we didn't have a thread on this yet. ASUS's line of smartphones is pretty popular nowadays, especially in countries in the East.  I've been a user of their Zenfone 5 unit for a year now, and I have no complaints so far - only rave reviews.

I made the jump to a smartphone only last year, and since I was on a budget, I decided to go with ASUS Zenfone 5 which was only around $150. I was initially going for a Nexus 6 or something because I have a Nexus 7, but since the Nexus 7 is made by ASUS, I decided to go for a much, much cheaper alternative that practically boasted the same specs.  So far, I experience very few problems with it (the battery drains fast), but nothing a little power bank can't solve.

Anyone else ever tried a Zenfone? How is it for you?
